Sarantel is a leader in the design of high-performance miniature antennas for portable wireless applications.
Sarantel's revolutionary ceramic filtering antennas offer dramatically improved performance over existing antenna designs, resulting in a clearer signal, better range and a 90 per cent reduction in the amount of signal radiation absorbed by the body. Because of their smaller size and higher capabilities, Sarantel's antennas enable manufacturers to create innovative wireless products for the GPS, WiMax, Satellite Radio and Satellite phone markets.
Sarantel has developed an intellectual property portfolio comprising of over a dozen core patents with hundreds of international filings on the design and production of dielectrically loaded antennas.

Brief history
Sarantel Limited was formed in March 2000 as a management buyout of technology developed by Dr. Oliver Leisten. The company is based in Wellingborough, UK where its research and development and administrative departments are located next to its world-class manufacturing facility.
The first commercial shipments of innovative GPS antennas began in 2001.
